Since 1993
D. Yoder Hardwoods was founded by its namesake, David Yoder, and has been in business and family-owned since 1993. Great service and quality have helped D. Yoder Hardwoods grow into a company with around 50 employees and establish a customer base across the country that relies on us to deliver a quality product on time, every time.
Our floating stair treads division was established in 2022, drawing on our decades of experience. These treads are crafted with meticulous care and are held to the same high standards as our tables, cutting boards, and every other piece produced in our facility.
From Tree to Tread
Our approach to quality craftsmanship starts long before the lumber reaches our sawmill. We carefully select green lumber from trusted local sources, ensuring that every piece we use aligns with our standards for strength and beauty.
Working closely with local kilns, we control the drying process to preserve the wood’s natural qualities and ensure durability in every tread. With our own sawmill on-site, we’re involved at every stage, from initial cutting to final customizations, resulting in stair treads that are built to last.
